eye2sky and Librestream announce relationship to provide mobile collaboration to remote locations

Headley, UK and Winnipeg, Canada - 28th March 2011

eye2sky Ltd., a UK-based provider of audio-visual and data systems over satellite, has signed an agreement to become a Librestream Certified Solutions Partner.  eye2sky offer a complete solution for real-time remote site video monitoring and communications, with highly portable and easy to use ATEX-certified equipment. Librestream’s Onsight system, a mobile video collaboration system that can operate in ultra-low bandwidth environments, will be available as a component of the eye2sky system, and also as a standalone system.

The agreement establishes eye2sky as a Librestream Certified Solutions Partner, further enhancing eye2sky's ability to deliver superior remote communications to companies in oil & gas, mining and other industries working in remote locations or hazardous environments.  As an authorized reseller, eye2sky will provide its clients with Librestream’s Onsight 2000R and 2000Ex mobile devices and Onsight Expert desktop collaboration software in addition to all the connectivity services required to support Onsight in the field.

The Onsight mobile device and the Onsight Expert software have now been integrated with eye2sky’s hardware, which include a bespoke ruggedized portable rack unit, portable site security camera systems and portable or fixed satellite antenna. With this complete solution, field workers in remote areas can immediately collaborate with offsite experts by sharing high quality video, audio, images and onscreen mark-up.
